CURRENT EXHIBITS

We have two exhibits in the Hall of Presidents. From Naples to Paris: Through the Lens of Singleton Harris, 1944-45 features World War II photographs of Europe by Singleton Harris, an African American soldier who served in the 449th Signal Construction Battalion in the segregated U.S. Army. We are also displaying Reclaiming the African American Heritage of Southern Illinois Project, a permanent exhibit describing local efforts to document the history of African Americans in our region.

For information on past exhibits, see the SCRC News archive.
